Wine Grenade, the intelligent micro-oxygenation solution
Wine Grenade is the micro-oxygenation tool designed to optimize wine aging thanks to its patented “nano-oxygenation” diffusion technology.
The WG is the first smart connected device dedicated to winemakers to help them carry out phase 2 of wine aging after alcoholic and malolactic fermentation.
The benefits of the controlled supply of oxygen in this phase lie in the management of aromatic opening, the softening of the structure, the destruction of reducing compounds or even in the integration of the wood.
The Wine Grenade precisely diffuses tiny amounts of oxygen through a semi-permeable membrane, rather than through a diffuser at the bottom of the tank. There are no bubbles and the risk of oxidation is reduced. This process of molecular osmosis recreates the natural permeability of oxygen that exists through the walls of oak barrels. WG permeable membranes feature an active flotation system™ that allows the membrane to move throughout the tank. This results in more uniform oxygen diffusion throughout a larger portion of the tank – both vertically and horizontally.
The unit is very easy to install and is self-contained thanks to its battery power supply and oxygen cartridge. It is connected via Wi-Fi for internet control.
Remove the Wine Grenade from its box, charge it, and the device is ready to use. The kit consists of a unit, a transparent semi-permeable tube, a "float," and an assembly plug.
No need to install complex pipes in your cellar. Simply connect the semi-permeable membrane to the housing and float, connect the unit to your Wi-Fi or smartphone, screw on the oxygen cartridge, and you're ready to nano-oxygenate!
Please note: the appliance must be installed near the tank's chimney and close to a power supply. A drain is provided to facilitate connection to the tank.
